I’m in the running for this year’s Sony InTheMix50 DJ Competition, under the Local DJ category. I would love it if anyone reading this could take the small amount of time to vote for me. You can do so by clicking this link:

Hey everybody,
I too was saddened yesterday to hear the news of the death of Michael Jackson. He was an amazing performer and musician, but also a massive influence to many, including myself.
By the suggestion of a mate of mine, I have created a tribute mix to honour the life of Michael Jackson. This doesn’t necessarily include his biggest, most well-known hits, but just three tracks that have influenced me hugely, in particular the second track, “HIStory”, available on the album “Blood On The Dance Floor – HIStory In The Mix”.
May your prayers go towards his friends and family, and may his music live on!

G’day everyone. I’m posting here the second in my series of promotional mix-tapes, consisting of three songs and running for less than 15 minutes. The one you are about to hear, Volume Two, is not like anything I’ve ever mixed before. Usually I mix and release house and electro tracks, but in this instance, I’ve decided to mix something a little harder and a little faster… Trance. Some time in the future I would like to create a full trance mix-tape, as possible a side-series, but in the meantime, here you go!

After positive feedback on my last mash-up, “Ghosts ‘N’ Rickrolls”, I set out looking for some new tracks that I could possibly blend together. This mash-up was more of a pain than the last one, because I couldn’t find an instrumental version of the Kid Cudi song to use, so I essentially had to cut it up myself, but that turned out to be not a problem, because I essentially re-structured it to better fit the David Guetta track. Anyway, without further ado, I present to you the 2nd DJ Mozzie mash-up of 2009.

Mozzie’s Promotional Mix-Tape – Volume One

G’day everyone, how’s it going?
I’d like to present to you the first in a new series of mix-tapes that I may or may not continue to do, haha. This mix-tape consists only of 3 songs, and goes for less than 15 minutes. Ideally, I would include songs in these mix-tapes that I for some reason couldn’t include in one of my main releases, which is essentially why I have created Volume One. The three songs in this edition all appear on Mozzie’s Mix-Tape – Volume Four, but in their original form. Although I personally think the original versions of the song worked better in that entire mix, these remixes are awesome, but I didn’t feel like I could include them in Volume Five because I wouldn’t want to double up.
Anyway, here you go! Hope you enjoy it, these are some great songs

Sidney Samson – Riverside (Original Version) [DJ Mozzie's Clean Edit]

This is my own custom edit of the Sidney Samson track, “Riverside”. Essentially, what I have done is shortened parts of it, chopped the intro up a little bit, and edited the, erm, expletives from the main hook of the song. In addition to this, the song has been sped up from 126BPM to 130BPM. I did this edit with intent to include it on what will be my fourth mix-tape, and will still probably use it for that purpose, but I also thought I would share the unmixed edit of the song to those who might want to listen to it, or play it live, or whatever.
Note: Links were previously broken, but are now fixed. Also, as a result of several requests, I have created and uploaded an extended version of this clean edit, primarily for DJ use.
